Description
Description
This linked bracelet, made of seven lapis and reconstituted turquoise rounds, takes its inspiration from the bright blues and green hues of a peacock's feather.
The peacock replaces its feathers annually, making its colorful plumes a symbol of renewal, and to Buddhists, openness and acceptance. Lapis lazul has been mined in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan for over 6,000 years, and is highly known for its deep color and meditative properties, which many claim brings clarity and purification to the wearer.
- Measures 6 1/2" in length, 5/8" diameter pieces, and secures with a lobster clasp
Handmade in Afghanistan and fair trade imported.
