Wood Carving: A Timeless Craft

Wood carving in Kenya has a rich history, deeply rooted in cultural traditions. The Kamba community, renowned for their skill, has been creating intricate, handmade wood pieces for generations. These carvings often depict daily life, folklore, and wildlife, each item unique in its design.

The process is entirely handmade, with artisans using simple tools to transform raw wood into detailed works of art. Every piece is special, reflecting the artisan's creativity and cultural heritage.
